The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences truly is an exceptional place, providing singular experiences and opportunities to our students, teachers, and parent/alumni communities.

The philanthropic support of our community members is essential to our ability to provide these experiences and opportunities. Your gift to The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences advances our mission and supports our efforts to achieve excellence in all that we do. A gift to Gardner is an investment in our children and their futures. 

The Annual Auction is the biggest fundraiser of our school year, raising funds that are essential to our school’s success. Each spring, Gardner parents, friends, faculty and staff enjoy a night out at The Heathman Lodge where they form community and support our school through a silent and live auction, party games, dinner/party sign-up boards, and a special appeal paddle raise that invests in a different school project each year. We invite you to attend our auction, as well as volunteer on the Auction Team to help make this night a smashing success for Gardner!

Run for Music: Gardner certainly is a musical school–and the annual Run for Music fundraiser provides meaningful financial support to our music program and activities. Students run laps around the school campus to raise funds. These funds are used to purchase musical equipment, fund the school musical, provide field trips to local symphony performances, and support annual music events such as Music Night and the Talent Show.

PTO Fundraisers: Gardner’s Parent Teacher Organization holds fun events throughout the year that also raise money for the PTO Fund. This fund goes toward supporting important projects during the year, including one major gift each year that benefits the school in a lasting and impactful way. Past gifts have included building the stage in the Imagination Playground, wobble stools and alternate seating in the classrooms, a classroom library system and most recently–audio visual recording equipment for events and for student video production.

  • Scholastic Book Fair: A weeklong book sale held in the great room at school during September
  • Harvest Festival: An October festival with games, food, music and more for all Gardner friends and families.
  • Spring Plant Sale: Purchase plants from a local nursery and support the Gardner PTO.
  • Amazon Affiliate: Gardner is an Amazon affiliate, and by entering the Amazon website through our button on the gardnerschool.org homepage, a portion of your purchases will benefit the PTO.

Ways to Give

Donations may bemade through our website or by contacting the Head of School at skerman@gardnerschool.org. The Gardner School accepts donations by check or credit card; gifts of stock may be made, as well.

The Gardner School benefits greatly from the philanthropy of our donor’s employers, who provide Matching Gifts to our School. We encourage you to see if your employer has a Matching Gift program. This is a wonderful way to maximize your philanthropic support of Gardner.

The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences is incorporated as a nonprofit organization, governed by a board of trustees. As an independent school, Gardner receives no public funding or religious support.  All gifts to Gardner are tax-deductible as allowable by law. The school will send a receipt acknowledging your gift. It is advisable to keep your giving receipts for tax purposes.
