Use this helpful CHECKLIST to plan for your student’s return to school on August 29th.
Get a head start on your 2018-19 Back to School Registration by downloading and returning your Registration Forms. These forms are due back to Melinda in the main office by August 24th.
In August, you will receive your login information to Blackbaud, our new student information system. At that time we ask that you review and update your family & student information, pick-up permissions and emergency contact information. The 2018-19 community handbooks will also be available to you at that time.
Parent orientations will be only for families new to The Gardner School (any grade) and for all Early Childhood families (TumTum & Mazama). Parent orientation will take place August 24th at 9am.

If you would like to sign up your child for pizza every Friday during lunchtime, the cost is $150 for the year (approximately $5 / Friday). Please drop off your Pizza Friday payment with Sheila in the Business Office (farmhouse main floor). Gluten-free options are available. On the check’s memo line, put the name(s) of your child(ren) getting pizza and whether you need gluten-free option(s).
Each year, families are asked to contribute to the Gardner School community through volunteer hours. A Tumtum / Mazama family is asked to volunteer for at least 20 hours per school year, and a Kalama through Tahoma family is asked to volunteer at least 30 hours per school year.

If you are planning to volunteer at The Gardner School, please fill out a Consent for Background Check. (In order to keep our records up to date, everyone must complete a Background Check this year — even if you have already completed one in the past.)
