Jason Kaiser

Mazama (pre-k) Assistant Teacher & Music Teacher (jkaiser@gardnerschool.org)

Jason Kaiser has been teaching music to people of all ages for the past nine years. Growing up in Southern California, Jason started his musical journey at age 11 focusing on drums and percussion. High school is where Jason was given the opportunity to be a part of the Huntington Beach Academy for the performing arts where he expanded his musical ability and palate.

After Graduation in 2008, Jason was offered an assistant teaching position at Huntington Beach High School, teaching the guitar classes for all grades. In 2010 he went to England to study at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing arts (LIPA) where he graduated with distinction and was awarded a diploma in popular music and sound technology by sir Paul McCartney!

Since then, Jason has been fortunate enough to tour the U.S. and in 2013 performed at nearly every music festival in the United States (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outsidelands, etc.) When Jason wasn’t touring he was lead instructor for Guitar Center Studios in Orange County and in 2016 moved to Vancouver and joined the Gardner School team.

In addition to teaching music to our oldest students and running rock band camps during Gardner summer camps, Jason brings his music and teaching skills to our preschoolers as assistant teacher in our Mazama classroom.
