Norma grew up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The eighth of ten children, she has always been surrounded by loving family and friends which has instilled in her the importance of community.
She moved to Vancouver in 1992 and has loved it ever since.
Norma has been working with little ones for over 10 years and enjoys sharing her native language with the younger generation. In 2011, she studied early childhood education at Clark College and in 2012 received a certificate for assistant teaching.
She is currently the Kalama (Kindergarten) Spanish teacher and a classroom Assistant Teacher.
