Shara Parker joined the Gardner School in the 2016-2017 school year as an aftercare specialist, and teaches Spanish to our fifth through eighth grade students. She has been working closely with children for the past five years to help educate and support the minds of this world’s future. Shara grew up in Southern California where she started her journey working with children of all ages while going to school for human development. Shara graduated with an Associates Degree from Golden West College in 2014, and in 2016 moved to Vancouver, Washington to further her studies in Human Development with a focus on environmental science at WSU. On the side, Shara is a violinist and has helped children realize their musical potential as well as reaching their personal goals. Along with musical abilities, Shara is also fluent and literate in Spanish.
