Dave Provost
Director of Enrollment & Communications
Dave Provost has worked in independent schools for the last 35 years in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, division head, director of enrollment, and head of school. He has a particular affinity for small schools and has lead the growth and development of tiny but mighty schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California, and Montana. Dave loves the collaborative spirit of Gardner School and the opportunity to introduce new families to the unique opportunities and experiences available on campus.
Dave has two college-aged children and lives in Portland with his dog, June Carter Cash. In addition to his work in schools, Dave is a trauma-informed counselor and a professional songwriter and musician.
